Histroy and Pioneering
Our history began on August 20th, 1982. On this date CP was founded by two professors of the Department of Electrical Engineering of UFRGS (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul).
Since those days, a journey characterized by a continuous search of quality and innovation in terms of trustworthy energy solutions have gone by. Throughout these three decades, the company has built a history of success and integrity based on the commitment to provide customized solutions using state-of-the-art technology, which has assured the company its high level of credibility in the Brazilian market.
The technological pioneering is one of the superior characteristics of CP Eletrônica. One of the company’s strategic aspects is the domain of 100% of the technology employed in the production of its equipment. CP Eletrônica is one of the few Brazilian companies with this competitive edge. This has been achieved because CP Eletrônica annually invests more than 5% of its revenue in research and development of new products, and it has established partnerships with excellence centers of large Brazilian universities such as Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) and Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS), among others.
During all these years, CP has been awarded several prizes and certifications.
